¿Cómo se ordena el top 100 de canales de Twitch más vistos?

El ranking se basa en el total de horas vistas de cada canal en los últimos 30 días. Las horas vistas son una de las mejores formas de medir la popularidad en Twitch, porque premian a los canales que mantienen su audiencia de forma constante y no a los que solo tuvieron un momento viral.

¿Qué miden realmente las “horas vistas”?

Las horas vistas son el tiempo total que todos los espectadores pasaron viendo un canal, sumado. Si 1000 personas vieron un stream durante 1 hora cada una, son 1000 horas vistas. Es una mejor señal del tamaño de la audiencia que los espectadores pico, porque tiene en cuenta tanto cuántas personas miran como cuánto tiempo se quedan.

¿Qué diferencia hay entre espectadores promedio y espectadores pico?

Ambas cifras son de los últimos 30 días, pero cuentan cosas distintas: Espectadores promedio: el tamaño habitual de la audiencia mientras el canal está en vivo. Una cifra constante es señal de una audiencia estable y fiel. Espectadores pico: el mayor número de personas mirando al mismo tiempo en esos 30 días. Suele coincidir con un evento especial, una gran colaboración o un momento viral.

¿Por qué algunos canales muestran “—” en lugar de un número?

Un guion significa que ese dato concreto no está disponible para el streamer. Suele pasar cuando el streamer tiene las estadísticas desactivadas, ha limitado su visibilidad pública o no ha hecho suficientes streams en los últimos 30 días para dar una cifra fiable.
